What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

The mortgage for our home needed to be reviewed after a 2-year period and we were looking to consolidate credit card debt that had been accrued partly due to the home purchase.

How has James Lawler helped you?

James had already given us excellent advice in 2014 after the original mortgage advisor had seriously messed up. He sourced the best re-mortgage for our circumstances that would enable us to manage our credit card debt. James completed the application swiftly and smoothly and kept us posted every step of the way.

Definitely. The new mortgage that James sourced for us means we are saving hundreds of pounds every month and we can see clear blue sea after 2 years of financial struggle, which was partially created by very poor advice from another financial advisor.

Re mortgage required due to current mortgage no longer meeting our requirements (ISA wouldn't pay out enough on time).

James has helped me finance 3 buy to let properties, and has also put in place a life insurance policy. He also lets me know of buy to let investment opportunities.

Yes, my mortgages are on the possible rates allowing me to achieve high yields.

What could they have done better?

Personally I don't feel that James needed to change anything he did in my dealings with him. Ultimately he searched the market for me and set out clearly all the positives and negatives of the options he put forward. I found the whole thing a very smooth process.
